Imperial Recruitment Group are delighted to announce that we are working exclusively on behalf of a long established Tier 1 Automotive manufacturer engineering organisation to recruit a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician on a permanent basis. LOCATION: Sunderland SALARY: Competitive LENGTH OF CONTRACT: Permanent ROLE SUMMARY: Reporting directly to the Technical Supervisor, the role requires a hardworking Maintenance Technician who can work well under pressure and to all deadlines, quality and safety standards. DUTIES ARE BUT NOT LIMITED TO: * Responsible for Inspecting, testing and maintaining all electrical, mechanical and robotic equipment. * Responsible for the installation, calibration and maintenance of company equipment. * To ensure full reactive and planned maintenance of electrical, mechanical and robotic equipment is complete and in a timely manner. * To fully support installation and improvement projects. * To make recommendations regarding potential improvements to techniques, methods, processes/procedures, equipment and safety. * Fault diagnosis and rectification of plant equipment. * Oversee introduction of all new plant equipment. * Attend design reviews, 8D, OEE and production meetings as required. * Adhering to 5s in all aspects of the role. * To represent the Company in a positive and professional manner at all times. * To adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures. * To adhere to the Company Health and Safety Policy at all times. * Work to IATF standards and procedures. * Ensure all reporting and documentation is complete within time. * Communicate with all departments to meet objectives and reduce downtime. * Available to support overtime. * To carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by your line Manager. TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE: * ONC/HNC/HND in Engineering or equivalent * Knowledge of IATF 16949: 2016 * Proven track record, ideally in a fast-paced Automotive manufacturing environment * Problem solving skills * Ability to communicate to all levels, internally and externally * A good team player * Ability to support the management team * Adaptability and flexibility * Ability to use IT programs – Excel, Word and PowerPoint * Flexibility to cover shift patterns and overtime For more information on this opportunity please feel free to contact Adam Pearson at Imperial Recruitment Group.
