We are looking for a friendly and supportive Personal Assistant to provide support once a week on a Thursday afternoon.
Support will include light domestic duties such as washing dishes, chopping vegetables, and making a cup of tea. There may also be occasions where assistance is needed with getting out of bed, occasional support with showering, and help with administrative tasks.
There would also be opportunities to go out together in the car, although this will need to be flexible depending on the individual's needs on the day.
The individual's needs can change from day to day, so the Personal Assistant must be patient and caring, allowing the individual to express what support they would like on each visit.
The Personal Assistant should be very caring and supportive, as the individual wishes to be as independent as possible.
The individual is looking for someone they can build a trusting working relationship with and who they feel safe and comfortable with. An added bonus would be a love of reading and writing, as these are personal interests.
