Salary £27,000 - £29,000 DOE plus commission, on-call & overtime (circa £1000 per month)
Metro Rod works with the likes of Tesco, Marks & Spencer, Mitie, Clarion, Axa, Wetherspoons and many more across FM, Social Housing, Property Management, Retail, Industrial and Leisure sectors. Founded in 1983, Metro Rod and sister company Metro Plumb are leading providers of drain clearance and maintenance services, delivered largely on a reactive basis to more than 60 franchisees across the UK.
What does it entail?
* Carrying out a range of services associated with cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of customers’ drains.
* Operating high‑pressure water jetting equipment in line with rigorous safety standards.
* Conducting surveys.
* Providing an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise.
* Accurately recording work/job details via bespoke internal and client systems and applications.
* Communicating effectively with high‑profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service at all times.
* Being part of an on‑call rota to service clients 24 / 7, 365 days a year.
What experience do we look for?
* High‑pressure water jetting and confined spaces experience.
* Surveying experience.
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in domestic & commercial drainage.
* Excellent problem‑solving ability with sound technical knowledge.
* A positive, flexible, can‑do attitude.
* A desire to be part of a growing and progressive business.
* Willingness to work some unsociable hours.
* Full UK driving licence.
* MUST live in the Cirencester area.
