We collaborate with creative agencies and businesses of all sizes to provide printing services including brochures, flyers, posters, books, POS displays, large format printing, stationery, postcards, packaging, lamination, foiling, die cutting, bespoke finishes, personalized merchandise, pre-press, design, and artworking services.
About you:
* Strong knowledge of Adobe CC for graphic design, artworking, and preparing client files for print.
* Experience with HP Indigo, HP Latex, or Large Format printing is highly beneficial.
* Motivated, thrives in fast-paced environments.
* Team player but capable of working independently from start to finish.
* Punctual, good multitasker, problem-solver, and creative thinker.
* Attention to detail and good understanding of colour management.
* Ability to manage workload and demonstrate initiative.
* Good file management and housekeeping skills.
* Excellent communication skills, confident, and approachable.
Role and responsibilities:
We seek candidates with at least 2 years of print industry experience to work with our experienced team to produce high-quality print jobs within strict deadlines. Responsibilities include:
* Mac-based work, artworking, and ripping files for printing or large format jobs.
* Prompt and accurate filing of documentation.
* Operating finishing equipment such as laminators, guillotines, and bookletmakers.
* Packing finished orders.
* Printing to meet client demands under the Production Manager's guidance.
* Prioritizing and scheduling work to meet deadlines while optimizing equipment use.
* Participating in training to enhance knowledge of print equipment.
* Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of design and print procedures.
Benefits and salary
At Maxim Print, you'll join a friendly team with extensive experience. Benefits include a government pension scheme, bonus scheme, paid overtime, 22 days of holiday plus bank holidays. The position is based in central London. Salary range: £28k-£32k, depending on experience.
