Graduate Learning Support Assistant Roles – Full-Time, Term Time Only (Monday to Friday)
Pay:£101.40 per day
Start Date: September 15th, 2025
Trial Days Available: September 3rd, 8th and 10th
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
1. Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism (from low to high support), PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance), and speech/language communication differences
2. Help young people who may be at risk of exclusion, disengagement, or involvement with the youth justice system
3. Use neurodiversity-informed approaches to reduce anxiety, build routines, and scaffold communication and emotional regulation
4. Empower pupils to develop resilience, self-awareness, and healthy peer relationships
5. Be a consistent, trusted adult in a trauma-informed educational setting
This role is ideal if you’re pursuing a career in:

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
10. Providing structured 1:1 and small group support to learners with SEN, SEMH, and autism spectrum conditions
11. Delivering behavioural and sensory regulation strategies tailored to individual neurocognitive profiles
12. Assisting with personalised learning plans that reflect emotional needs and academic goals
13. Supporting pupils in developing executive function, social reasoning, and life skills
14. Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and families to monitor progress and refine interventions
15. Participating in de-escalation and relational behaviour support (full training provided)
Who We’re Looking For:
16. Graduates in Criminology, Psychology, Education, Social Sciences, or related fields
17. Aspiring professionals in safeguarding, social justice, or youth rehabilitation
18. Empathetic, non-judgemental communicators with a genuine interest in neurodiversity and inclusion
19. Individuals open to learning about autistic identity, sensory integration, and non-verbal communication styles
20. Previous experience in education, care, or youth services is welcome but not essential
