Are you a Lloyd’s of London / London Market insurance expert with a passion for transformation, solutioning, and driving real change across the London Market?
Our client is expanding its UK leadership capabilities and seeking a Practice Lead who brings deep market knowledge, strong technical and domain expertise, and the ability to shape future-ready solutions for their clients.
This is a brand new position for a senior individual contributor role (AVP/VP level) who has experience across insurance, technology solutions and transformation.
About the Role
Whilst this role reports to the Global VP Insurance Operations it will sit within the Delivery Organisation and play a role in:
* Leading the design, development, and delivery of customer‑centric, innovative solutions across Insurance Services.
* Supporting both the Solutions Organisation and the Transformation Office, ensuring solutions are scalable, commercially sound, and aligned to business goals.
* Acting as the market expert for Lloyd’s and the wider London Market — guiding transformation, digitisation, and new ways of working across the ecosystem.
You will work closely with customer stakeholders, solution architects, transformation leads, and global delivery teams to define real business problem statements and turn them into deployable, high‑value solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Strengthen Solutions
* Own end‑to‑end solutioning through:
* Deep domain understanding
* RFP responses
* Solution architecture & value propositioning
* Pre‑sales demos and presentations
* Ensure solutions are technically robust, scalable, and aligned with the transformation roadmap.
* Create proactive solution proposals to address emerging client needs and market opportunities.
Drive Transformation Initiatives
* Lead transformation opportunities by providing Lloyd’s / London Market expertise, technical guidance, and hands‑on advisory.
* Identify opportunities for digitisation, operating model evolution, and next‑generation insurance capabilities.
Stakeholder & Market Leadership
* Act as a trusted adviser for senior stakeholders across the Lloyd’s and London Market value chain.
* Stay ahead of market trends, regulatory change, pricing dynamics, and technology adoption across Lloyd’s, MGAs, brokers, and carriers.
Experience Required
We are seeking a proven London Market / Lloyd’s of London specialist with:
* Extensive experience in the Lloyd’s of London and London Market Insurance market is mandatory.
* Demonstrable expertise across the breadth of P&C Insurance
* Architecture, Solutioning and pre‑sales in insurance technology services
* Digital & operational change initiatives
* Technical acumen and the ability to translate business challenges into deployable, scalable solutions.
* A consultative, collaborative working style — comfortable influencing global teams and senior client stakeholders.
Location & Working Model
* London based, Hybrid: c. 3 days per week in the office.
