About Eden Boys' School, Birmingham
Eden Boys’ School, Birmingham is a Muslim faith-based secondary school for boys, which welcomes pupils from all faiths and none. We opened in Perry Barr in 2015 and, like all Star schools, we have a leadership specialism. We are one of the highest performing schools in the country, with a strong Progress 8 score for 2024 GCSE results. We were graded ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in May 2018, and our December 2024 inspection commended upholding high standards of academic excellence, teaching, character development and behaviour. We provide a knowledge-based academic curriculum alongside a leadership programme that grows character and inspires charitable and social action. Our belief is that every pupil can become a successful and inspirational leader.”
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for an unqualified teacher with a proven track record of success and raising pupil outcomes. As an unqualified teacher at Star you’ll join the Star Academies family, a high-performing and supportive network of primary and secondary schools. The successful candidate will be able to deliver quality teaching that drives achievement and inspires a love of learning. You will be able to demonstrate experience of achieving positive outcomes for pupils, and be passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people. As a committed team player, you will have excellent organisational skills and the natural ability to motivate both pupils and peers.
You Will Have
* An honours degree qualification (typically 2ii or above) or relevant qualification.
* Innovation and creativity to engage, enthuse and progress learners.
* The ability to teach across the age phase that you will be trained.
* The ability to deliver effective learning and teaching in the classroom.
