Job Responsibilities: - Preparation of management accounts, monthly timetable management, analysis, and journal preparation are essential responsibilities. -Ownership of sections of Profit and Loss accounts across multiple entities and profit centers is crucial for financial oversight. - Balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of associated schedules are important for accurate financial reporting. - Utilizing data tools like SQL, Power Query, Macros, and Power BI can help analyze large datasets for management accounts and financial analysis. - Assisting in the preparation of annual audit packs and liaising with external auditors is necessary for compliance. - Preparing ad-hoc analysis and contributing to special projects can add value to financial decision-making. - Partnering with colleagues to effectively communicate results and improve reporting standards is key for collaboration. -Identifying opportunities for process improvement and supporting the senior finance team in implementing changes is essential for efficiency. - Supporting the preparation of annual statutory accounts and budgets is crucial for financial planning. - Working with colleagues to investigate and resolve queries helps maintain financial accuracy and transparency.
