Multi Trade Operative – Social Housing (Long-Term Contract)

ZJC Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join a well-established and growing contractor delivering Void maintenance and refurbishment works across social housing properties in West London.
This is a long-term contract offering consistent, ongoing work for reliable and skilled operatives who take pride in delivering high-quality finishes.
The Role
You will be working across void social housing properties, carrying out a variety of maintenance and repair tasks. This is a varied role suited to someone confident across multiple trades and able to work independently.
Key duties include:
* Carpentry (repairs, installations, doors, kitchens)
* Tiling in kitchens and bathrooms
* Painting and decorating to a high standard
* Plastering and patch repairs
* Basic electrical works (e.g. sockets, light fittings)
* General maintenance and refurbishment tasks
* Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with regulations
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Multi Trade Operative within social housing or maintenance
* Strong all-round skillset across core trades
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in a relevant trade (preferred)
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* Own van and tools (essential)
* Asbestos Awareness certificate
* Ability to pass a basic DBS check
* Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
