About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Placements Administrator to join the Medical School Administration Team in a varied and interesting role. The role involves the management and co‑ordination of administrative processes relating to student placements for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes within the Edge Hill University Medical School. It is a fixed‑term post until 26/10/2026, covering for the substantive post holder who is on maternity leave.
The Placements Administrator will coordinate a wide range of administrative support relating to student placements, working in partnership with placement providers. The role is dynamic and evolving, with responsibility for the provision of a high‑quality support service to both internal and external stakeholders, working within the School Administration Team to deliver an outstanding student experience and meet the school's business needs.
About You
You will have strong experience working in an administrative role and busy office environment, with excellent organisational skills, flexibility, and attention to detail. You will work collaboratively with the team to contribute towards a high‑quality student experience.
As Placements Administrator, you will focus on the planning, organisation, monitoring and quality assurance of practice placements, and provide administrative support for student attendance within undergraduate and postgraduate medical education programmes. You will build and maintain effective external networks and develop working relationships that enhance collaboration.
