Job Description: Support Worker Pay: £14.50 per hour Refer a Friend Scheme - £250 awarded (T&C's apply) We currently have a great opportunity for dedicated Full Time and Bank Support Workers to work with an individual who has a learning Disability and autism and mental health support needs within the Carlisle CA1 area. About the Person You’ll Be Supporting This is a woman who communicates verbally however Is currently using a limited vocabulary and relies on those around her to support her in every aspect of daily living – from shopping and meal preparation to gardening and attending appointments. She enjoys staying active, and doing real, meaningful tasks in her day. She is surrounded by a loving family, and it's important that any new team members value family connections and work collaboratively with them. While she can experience behaviours that challenge, she thrives when supported by people who understand her, are consistent, and use Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approaches. If you’re someone with a calm presence, emotional resilience, and a willingness to learn, this role is for you.
