Barker Ross is currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join our client who specialises in products for agriculture, horticulture, forestry, amenities and landscaping.
Based just outside of Lincoln, this is a temporary to permanent position following a successful probation period. The company are looking for people that want to join the business on an on going basis and grow with their company. They have excellent prospects and opportunities.
The role will be full time, working Monday to Friday 8:00am-4:00pm with a pay rate of £12.50 per hour.
Working within the Liquid Production Department, you will be required to:-
· Mix liquid products to specific mix sheets (supervised, until fully trained)
· Processing of liquid products as per customer requirements
· Adhering to strict Health & Safety regulations regarding the mixing of potentially harmful substances
· Cleaning of plastic and metal tanks
· Movement of liquids in a safe manner
· Monitoring stock levels, communicating with relevant departments for ordering
· Liaising with technical and quality teams to test sample mixes of liquids
· All other related tasks as requested by the Management Team
To be successful, you will need:-
· Previous experience working within a production environment
· Happy to work in cold weather
· Own transport is essential, due to the location of the site
