Business Development Trainee – Financial Services

Role Overview

As a Business Development Trainee, you will play a key role in supporting our client acquisition and growth initiatives. You’ll gain first-hand experience in financial markets, client relationship management, and strategic business development. This position is ideal for graduates or early-career professionals who are passionate about finance, sales, and developing trusted client partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Research and identify prospective clients within target markets.

Assist in preparing financial proposals, presentations, and investment summaries.

Support the Business Development team in generating leads and managing client pipelines.

Participate in client meetings and networking events to build strong professional relationships.

*

Monitor financial market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to identify new opportunities.

Maintain accurate client information and activity records in the company’s CRM system.

*

Collaborate with financial advisors, marketing, and operations teams to deliver seamless client service.

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.

Strong interest in financial services, markets, and client relationship management.

*

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

*

Self-motivated, results-driven, and eager to learn.

*

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with CRM systems is an advantage.
