The Role
As the BAU Technician, you’ll:
Maintain and ensure the readiness of Emergency Deployable equipment for nuclear responses.
Conduct fault finding and diagnosis to ensure equipment is operational at all times.
Support the training of personnel on equipment handling and maintenance procedures.
Participate in configuration and assessment of equipment post-deployment.
Comply with health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
You
To be successful in the role of BAU Technician, you’ll bring:
Experience working with mechanical or electrical equipment, preferably with plant engines.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Ability to work calmly under pressure in emergency situations.
A valid LGV Licence and fork-lift truck experience are advantageous but not essential.
