About this opportunity:
The Order and Delivery Management job role (ODM) is responsible for order management and accountable for 100% clarification final check, monitoring and deliver orders according to sales order/project requirements for various products and services. The job role covers responsibilities within order execution for sales order and project deliveries, return and transportation. The focus is to optimize management and control in order and return flows.
The role requires navigating complex internal IT landscape and the expectation is that the successful candidate will spent 50% of the time on day-to-day responsibilities outlined below and 50% on automating system handovers, optimizing processes, improving visibility and transparency of the HW movement/status. As such knowledge of Python and/or other programming languages is a requirement for a candidate to thrive in the role.
What you will do:
* Determine how, when and from where the required items will be delivered in order to meet customer requirement in a cost-efficient way.
* Monitor the order to ensure all line items are confirmed, the order is acknowledged in a timely manner and ensure that it meets customer/project requirement.
* Analyse and cater to the change request from stakeholders.
* Ensure that outbound deliveries are packed and ready for transportation in alignment with order acknowledgement and/or call-off request.
* Track the order to secure completion and closure in a timely manner.
* Determine appropriate strategies and locations for returns by managing and controlling the receipt of faulty/excess material.
* Optimize transport based on predefined choices and lead time requirement.
* Secure that shipments are executed as planned from Logistic Service Provider (LSP) confirmation until physical goods delivery and Transport Service purchase order creation.
