Your new role
In this high:impact leadership role, you will lead the UK Rare Blood Disorders strategy and team, co:owning national commercial plans and driving pre: and post:launch excellence across the portfolio. You will inspire and develop high:performing teams, build strong cross:functional and external partnerships, and ensure all activities meet the highest compliance and ethical standards. You will translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, oversee budget and performance management, shape UK input into global and regional strategy, and collaborate with senior stakeholders to deliver strong business results.

Lead the UK Rare Blood Disorders strategy and deliver aligned commercial, sales and marketing objectives.

Develop, coach and inspire the Rare Blood Disorders teams, building engagement, capability and succession pipelines.

Drive pre: and post:launch excellence through market segmentation, modelling, scenario planning and competitor insight.
:
Strengthen cross:functional collaboration and represent UK needs in global and regional strategy discussions.

Build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, NHS stakeholders and external partners to enhance patient access.

Ensure full compliance with ABPI, MHRA, Business Ethics and Novo Nordisk quality standards, acting as second signatory.

Oversee budgeting, performance monitoring, field force KPIs and reporting of risks, opportunities and mitigation plans.
The role is based at our Gatwick office with a hybrid working policy, and includes occasional travel within the UK and light attendance at European congresses, depending on business needs.

Your skills and qualifications
We are looking for a commercially and strategically strong leader with proven pharmaceutical experience in sales and marketing within the UK market. You will have a track record of leading high:performing teams, delivering product launches, and driving business results while maintaining the highest compliance and ethical standards. Strong strategic thinking, excellent communication, and the ability to navigate complexity in a matrix organisation are essential. You understand the NHS landscape, possess analytical rigor, and are comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Degree in Life Sciences, Business or Marketing; advanced marketing/business qualification desirable.

ABPI certification or willingness to obtain; experience as ABPI marketing second signatory.

Proven leadership experience managing large, diverse commercial teams, including field force management.

Strong pharmaceutical product management/marketing experience, including pre:launch planning, launch execution, and lifecycle management.

Deep understanding of the UK NHS landscape and experience engaging with primary and secondary care stakeholders.
