Join Our 111 Call Centre Team in Bristol
Are you interested in making a difference through an exciting service? As a key member of our 111 team in Bristol, you'll have the opportunity to contribute significantly to public health.
This role offers training to become a Health Advisor in our modern 111 call centre. You will handle calls from the public, using NHS Pathways, a state-of-the-art triage tool, to assess and direct patients to appropriate care. While most calls are non-emergency, you'll be prepared to handle emotional or distressing situations and coordinate emergency services when necessary.
Role Details
We offer enhanced pay rates for weekend shifts. Part-time weekend roles are available from 16 to 24 hours per week, covering core shifts and supporting patients during peak times. Additional hours are available on weekdays from 07:00 to 16:00.
Note: If you are seeking more than 24 hours per week, including full-time roles (37.5 hours), we may accommodate you if you're willing to work additional weekend hours, which could include working every weekend and taking weekdays off.
Training Information
Our comprehensive training program equips you with valuable skills and includes assessments. You can choose from two options:
* Full-time training (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm) for 6 weeks
* Part-time training on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays (6pm-10pm), and weekends (9am-5pm) for 8 weeks
Attendance at all training sessions is mandatory. Following training, there is an additional eight weeks of support before you are fully operational.

Post-Training Role
After completing training, you can join the team part-time according to your agreed shift pattern. Please note that this is a 24/7, 365-day service, with higher activity during weekends, evenings, and bank holidays, including Christmas.
