These flexible opportunities are ideal for Early Years Practitioners who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different early years environments. You will be supporting children in Bicester and the surrounding areas, helping them learn, play, and thrive in nurturing and engaging settings.Duties as Early Years Practitioner:
* Support the planning and delivery of stimulating, age‑appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
* Assist with the care, supervision, and well‑being of children aged 0–5
* Help create safe, inclusive, and developmentally rich learning environments
* Promote children’s social, emotional, and physical development
* Contribute to observations and maintain learning records when required
* Support children with personal care needs where appropriate
* Work collaboratively with early years teams and contribute to daily routines during longer‑term placements
Ideal Early Years Practitioner:
* Experience working with young children in nursery or early years settings
* Understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
* Ability to build positive, nurturing relationships with children
* Creative, patient, and enthusiastic approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Adaptable across various routines, environments, and age groups
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
* Willingness to undertake relevant early years training and ongoing development
