Accounts Payable Assistant
Location: Lowestoft, Suffolk
Contract: Temporary – Full-Time or Part-Time (flexible hours available)

Role Overview
An excellent opportunity to join a friendly and professional finance team on a temporary basis. As Accounts Payable Assistant, you'll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and supporting the wider finance function. The role offers flexibility and can be adapted to suit full-time or part-time working hours.
Key Responsibilities
Process supplier invoices promptly and accurately, matching to purchase orders and delivery notes
Resolve invoice queries and liaise with suppliers and internal teams as needed
Prepare supplier statement reconciliations and support timely payment runs
Assist with credit card and expense claim processing
Input financial data accurately into the accounting system
Support month-end close activities and general finance admin tasks
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in an accounts payable or purchase ledger role
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Confident in using Excel and handling data entry
Able to manage your workload effectively and meet deadlines
Comfortable working as part of a team
Qualifications
AAT Level 2 (or equivalent experience) preferred but not essential
Experience in a similar finance support role
