In this role of Learning Support Assistant, you will: Provide one-to-one or small-group support to pupils who require additional help. Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible learning activities. Encourage pupils’ confidence, participation, and independence in the classroom. Help manage classroom routines and maintain a positive learning environment. Build supportive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to promote progress. Uphold high standards of safeguarding, behaviour management, and pastoral care. What You’ll Bring as a Learning Support Assistant: Previous experience in a school or SEN support role (preferred but not essential). A caring, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting learners. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. A genuine interest in helping children overcome barriers to learning. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
