Barnsbury Housing Association is looking for an experienced and proactive Head of Contracts & Compliance to join our small, ambitious team. Reporting to the Operations Director, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our homes are safe, well-maintained, and sustainable.
You’ll lead on building safety and compliance, oversee planned and cyclical maintenance, support our sustainability goals, and help us continue delivering high-quality services to residents.

We’re looking for someone who can:
* Lead planned and cyclical works programmes, including preparing specifications
* Manage building safety compliance across all properties
* Use data confidently to maintain a strong compliance and control environment
* Drive delivery of our zero-carbon and EPC-C targets
You’ll bring:
* Experience in a social housing related role, with a focus on health & safety, compliance and asset management
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* A flexible, hands-on approach and a passion for continuous improvement
* Strong customer focus with the ability to resolve issues proactively
We offer:
* Agile working (including remote working with a requirement for a minimum of one day a week on site), plus meetings/events/training as appropriate
