A Systems Accountant is being recruited for our growing Ringwood-based client. This is a pivotal time to join the business as they have recently merged with a larger company, requiring the integration of financial information to streamline reporting.
Reporting to the Finance Director and working closely with the IT team, responsibilities include:
1. Maintaining accuracy and integrity of financial data
2. Providing technical support to finance teams and assisting with system issues
3. Identifying and implementing automation opportunities and process improvements
4. Financial reporting and analysis
5. Managing month-end processes for multiple subsidiaries
6. Variance reporting
7. Assisting with budgets and forecasts
8. Liaising with remote finance teams

Qualifications and experience:
* Qualified or Part-qualified with relevant systems and accounting experience
* Advanced Excel skills are essential
* Experience with Power BI, ODBC links, data extraction, and analysis
* Experience with multi-currency and multiple entities
* Management accounts experience in a multi-currency environment
* Strong accounting system skills, particularly with Xero
