We are seeking a dedicated Waking Night Support Worker to join our team in providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children who have experienced trauma and challenging life circumstances.
About the Role As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will:
Provide a calm, reassuring presence throughout the night.
Safeguard and support children aged [insert age range] with emotional, behavioural, and social needs.
Manage incidents in a trauma-informed, caring manner.
Keep detailed records and handovers to ensure continuity of care.
Work closely with the day team to provide consistent, high-quality support.

Previous experience in residential childcare, care, or a similar setting (desirable but not essential full training provided).
Understanding of trauma-informed care and safeguarding.
Ability to remain alert, calm, and professional throughout the night.
