At GXO, we are excited to announce that we are recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader (Nights) to join our dynamic team in Avonmouth. This role is pivotal as we support one of our new business wins!
Your Role
As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will:
* Provide leadership and guidance to your warehouse team, ensuring they have the tools they need to succeed.
* Oversee daily operations to ensure everything runs smoothly.
* Lead your team in a fast-paced picking operation.
* Support with one-on-one meetings and appraisals.
* Assist the shift manager in engaging with the team and adapting to varying inbound workloads.
* Champion health & safety practices, ensuring compliance and the safety of your team.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
* Strong communication skills.
* The confidence to challenge the status quo and share best practices.
* Flexibility to support your team and shift manager, including the possibility of extra hours.
* Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time, permanent position with a shift pattern of 3 on, 3 off, from 18:00 to 06:00.
Pay and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of up to £37,438.52 per annum, with an overtime rate of x1.33. Your benefits package includes:
