About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join Booker, the UK's largest food and drink wholesaler, as a Web Content Executive. In this role you’ll help deliver clear, accurate and engaging content across the Booker website. Working closely with Digital Merchandising Managers, Marketing and suppliers, you’ll bring campaigns and product stories to life online. You’ll play an important part in ensuring our content is consistent, SEO‑optimised and supports Booker’s digital growth.
Main Responsibilities
8. Uploading and managing website content using the CMS
9. Writing clear, engaging and SEO‑friendly copy for category pages, campaigns and supplier activity
10. Ensuring all content is accurate, on‑brand and regularly checked for quality
11. Supporting supplier‑funded campaigns with banners, landing pages and promotional messaging
12. Helping build content for product ranges, promotions and seasonal events
13. Implementing SEO best practice, including titles, meta descriptions and keyword optimisation
14. Supporting the execution of category strategies and improving on‑site navigation and taxonomy
15. Spotting opportunities to improve the customer journey through stronger content and signposting
16. Assisting with merchandising updates that support commercial and category priorities
You will need
17. Strong attention to detail when publishing content
18. Excellent written communication skills and the ability to write engaging website copy
19. Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
20. Understanding of SEO principles and how content supports organic search
21. Good awareness of eCommerce and digital customer journeys
22. Ability to work effectively with digital, marketing, trading and supplier teams
23. Experience creating content for websites, blogs or social media
24. Interest in digital marketing, eCommerce and content creation
25. Experience in B2B, wholesale or FMCG is desirable
