Every day, millions of products travel across borders from the clothes people wear to the medical supplies hospitals rely on. My client help make that happen, managing millions of shipments every year across a global network. But behind every shipment is a team of people making sure things run smoothly, solving problems, answering questions and being reactive with customers keeping them informed every step of the way. Thats where you come in, forming part of their Customer Services team. As a Customer Service Administrator, youll be at the heart of the operations. Youll make sure shipments are processed accurately, business to business customers are kept up to date and everything flows exactly how it should. Day to day you will: Manage import, export and UK shipments using internal systems Informing customers of progress or issues and resolving any issues quickly and professionally Produce reports and track key performance indicators to help the department keep improving Maintain accurate records of communication with each customer using internal systems Be a key link between customers and operations helping to deliver the reliable service the business is known for. You dont need to know everything about logistics, but you do need to care about doing a great job for customers and staying organised in a fast-paced environment.
