Our client, a Tier 1 contractor within the water industry, is currently seeking a Civils Site Engineer to join their team. This position is based on a Wastewater Treatment Works (WWTW) site in Woolstone, Cotswolds area (SN7). This is a contract role with an outside IR35 status.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing and managing site operations on a WWTW project
Ensuring all civil engineering activities are carried out in compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
Liaising with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies
Providing technical guidance and support to the site team
Conducting site inspections and ensuring that activities align with project specifications and requirements
Monitoring progress and preparing reports for senior management and clients
Resolving any technical issues that may arise on-site
Maintaining accurate records of site activities and ensuring proper documentation
Job Requirements:
Experience in civil engineering within the water industry
Understanding of WWTW site operations and requirements
Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications
Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively
Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification is preferred
Flexibility to adapt to project needs and schedules
