Main duties of the job
To support the delivery of Hinchingbrooke Hospital Redevelopment Programme, this exciting Intelligent Hospitals Capabilities Business Analyst role will develop business requirements and processes, standard operating procedures, and digital requirements for each of the Intelligent Hospitals Capabilities (IHC) within the HHRP.
This will ensure that each IHC is defined and scoped to allow technical and project staff to build out the required design and plan appropriately for the IHC's implementation.
This role will undertake analysis for a portfolio of different digital initiatives based around the Intelligent Hospital Capabilities within defined frameworks and methodologies. They will support the development of comprehensive business cases to justify these initiatives, identifying and articulating the benefits, and defining the process, workforce and technological changes required to ensure successful implementation.
In collaboration with colleagues, the Business Analyst will define initial requirements and the development of specifications for the purchase and / or development of digital technologies for the Trust.
The Business Analyst will need to work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders and build strong lasting relationships for the duration of the programme. This includes healthcare professionals, IT teams, external partners, other NHP sites, and the wider healthcare technology market.

Person Specification
Education and Qualifications
* Recent relevant digital work experience within the NHS or other large organisation
Experience
* Experience of analysing data and information and presenting this to a range of users e.g. mapping 'as is' and 'to be' processes
* Experience of digital change management, testing new processes and provision of training in a health care setting
* Experience of defining and / or reviewing complex requirements and understanding the link to benefits that are created from their delivery
Knowledge/Skills and Abilities
* Expertise with the application of Business Analysis techniques, methods and tools.
Other
* Work independently, across multiple disciplines, while still feeding back into the digital team to garner support and input where needed.
