Contract: Full-time, long-term to permanent
Pay: £90-£100 per day
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm (term time only)
About the Role
Long Term Futures are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and well-established secondary school in Clifton, Nottingham, recently rated Good by Ofsted across all areas. This full-time role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs (SEN), helping them feel confident and able to access their learning in a busy classroom environment.
What You'll Be Doing
Offering 1:1 and small-group support to students with special educational needs (SEN)
Helping pupils regulate behaviour and stay engaged in lessons
Working closely with teachers to deliver tailored interventions
Using positive behaviour strategies to support emotional wellbeing
Contributing to progress monitoring, observations and pastoral supportYou'll play a key part in making sure students feel understood, supported, and ready to take on challenges each day.
What We're Looking For
Experience supporting young people in education
Previous work with children or young people with SEN
Great communication skills and a calm, encouraging approach
A valid (or willingness to apply for) Enhanced DBS certificate
