My client, a top tier, leading global law firm, with offices around the UK, has a fantastic opportunity for a talented Graduate Recruitment Advisor to join the firm’s Trainee Recruitment and Development team on a permanent basis, in their Birmingham office.
The Graduate Recruitment Advisor will manage the end to end recruitment process for their early careers programmes. Managing attraction and selection, as well as assessment centres and marketing campaigns. A broad and busy role, working closely with the Graduate Recruitment Manager and wider team.
The key duties will include:
* To organise and run an events series to promote the firms programme, and represent the firm at external recruitment events.
* Working with the Manager on the design and implementation of a new application and recruitment process for the programme.
* Responsible for the offer and post-offer process, including acting as one of the main points of contact for candidates following an offer. University relationship management
* Working with the university relationship partners and Manager to agree and organise university society sponsorships and campus events/activities at key target universities.
* Arranging annual university-wide firm presentations and university society events, and attending events where required.
* Liaising with university societies to confirm sponsorship agreements and manage these relationships throughout the academic year.
* Maintaining and developing relationships with law schools and careers services of target universities. Work experience opportunities and recruitment events
* Shared responsibility for organising and running the summer work experience schemes.
* Representing the firm at trainee recruitment and events throughout the year and giving presentations where required. Interviews
* Conducting short HR interviews as part of the training contract interview process.
* Speaking to candidates about any adjustments they require as part of the interview process.
The Graduate Recruitment Advisor will have previous experience and be able to manage early careers programmes end to end. Have experience working at another law firm or similar environment, be able to build strong working relationships with Partners, Trainees, the wider HR team and Universities, as well as, be a team player and have a can-do attitude.
