The Opportunity
KnoWho are partnering with a global marketing and creative agency to find an experienced Account Director to lead high-profile client relationships and drive integrated campaign delivery. This is a senior client services role for someone who thrives at the intersection of creativity, culture, and commercial growth.
You'll play a key role in growing strategic accounts while ensuring best-in-class delivery across brand, creative, campaign, social, and experiential workstreams. The ideal candidate brings both commercial acumen and hands-on delivery excellence.
The Role
As Account Director, you will be the senior day-to-day lead across key client accounts, responsible for relationship health, account growth, and campaign execution. You'll work closely with strategy, creative, production, and social teams to deliver impactful, culturally relevant work.
You will balance long-term account development with operational excellence - ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high creative standard.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and grow key client accounts, identifying opportunities for organic growth and expanded scope
Own senior client relationships and act as a trusted strategic partner
Oversee end-to-end campaign delivery across integrated channels
Manage and mentor account managers and account executives
Drive excellence across creative, brand, social, campaign, and experiential projects
Collaborate with strategy and creative teams to shape briefs and outputs
Ensure strong financial management across accounts, including forecasting and revenue tracking
Maintain high standards of delivery, process, and communication
Contribute to new business and pitch activity where required
Required Experience
Proven experience at Account Director level (or strong Senior Account Manager ready to step up) within a creative, marketing, or integrated agency
Demonstrated success in both account growth and campaign delivery
Strong experience delivering integrated campaigns across:
Creative & brand
Campaign and activation
Social
Experiential
Confident managing senior client stakeholders
Strong commercial awareness and financial management skills
Experience working with or strong passion for cultural brands, sport, lifestyle, or gaming
Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
Comfortable working in fast-paced, collaborative agency environments
Nice to Have
Experience with culturally driven or community-led brands
Exposure to global or multi-market campaigns
Background in culturally relevant sectors such as sport, lifestyle, or gaming
