The Role & What You Will Be Doing
This role is responsible for ensuring accurate statutory accounting, regulatory reporting, and strong financial controls while maintaining full compliance with local legislation, tax requirements, and SOX standards. It oversees key accounting activities such as balance sheet analysis, fixed asset reporting, working capital forecasting, and preparation of financial information for management. The position reviews payroll outputs for accuracy, advises on payroll matters, and liaises with tax and HR teams on payroll‑related matters. It also acts as a key contact for internal and external auditors, supports policy and process improvements, collaborates with global service centers, and provides guidance to employees on travel and expense policies to maintain a well‑controlled and efficient finance environment.

Statutory Reporting
* Prepare and submit with accuracy and in a timely manner the submission of information/returns as required by the Health authorities and other statutory / regulatory / trade assoc bodies as appropriate. Focus on the Voluntary Scheme for Branded Medicines Pricing, Access and Growth returns and calculations.
* Support and be a contact point for internal and external auditors, review policies, processes and procedures following audit reviews and revise accordingly.
* Continually review legislation and regulations that affects the working environment and provide a strong gatekeeping service for financial reporting and controls including SOX.
Payroll
* Review outputs of the Payroll Manager and liaise with Human Relations and tax authorities on payroll and benefits issues and ensure all required statutory documentation is filed and up to date.
* Prepare payroll budgets and forecasts.
* Prepare payroll related balance sheet reconciliations.
Financial Accounting
* Prepare and analyze key balance sheet reconciliations.
* Prepare net working capital forecasts and track against forecast/budget, review fixed asset/capital expenditure.
* Prepare accurate and relevant financial data to all levels of Management as required.
Other
* Prepare supporting data for in-scope local insurance policies in accordance with global policies.
* Support and participate in other Finance sub-teams in projects as required to ensure cohesive team built.
* Liaise activities with GIS centres related to statutory accounting/accounts receivable/accounts payable/indirect tax.
About Your Skills & Experience
* ACA Qualified accountant
* Analytical thinking with strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Proficiency of Microsoft Excel skills and experience
* Ability to manage relationships across multiple countries
* Self‑motivated and able to work independently but also a strong team player
* Strong organisational skills, able to manage own time effectively and work to tight deadlines
* Ability to communicate to non‑finance professionals
