We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to support our finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting month-end and year-end processes.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
* Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
* Process invoices, expense forms, and payments
* Maintain and update accounting records and files
* Support in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions
* Handle expense claims
* Support with audits
* Respond to financial queries from internal staff and external suppliers
* Perform general administrative duties related to finance
YOUR EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:
* Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or similar role
* Solid knowledge of basic accounting principles
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* AAT qualification or working towards it (desirable

* Have experience of working in a Fashion E-Commerce business
WORK HOURS & LOCATION:
This position is based in Brighton, with a minimum of 3-days in the office. Hours are Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
