Opportunity at Wates - Assistant Surveyor
Here at Wates, we have an opportunity for an Assistant Surveyor to join our Living Space team in the East Midlands area. As this role involves working alongside one of our new social housing partners, we are ideally looking for someone with experience in this or the reactive maintenance sector.

Key Accountabilities
1. Produce commercial reports both internally and externally.
2. Ensure the timely receipt of quotations for materials, equipment, and subcontract works, undertake commercial assessment of quotes received, and ensure the timely placement of orders on commercially advantageous terms to facilitate project delivery and meet business objectives.
3. Regularly complete on-site measurements/take-offs.
4. Ensure all contractual processes are completed on time.
We are looking for a candidate with a good work ethic, capable of working under a Project Surveyor and within a team of Surveyors of varying experience levels.
Ideally, you will have at least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role or exposure to this field.
To succeed, you should be able to liaise effectively with clients and possess strong personal skills to create positive relationships with the team.
