Full time: 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: 4 days per week, Monday-Saturday. Shift start times between 06:00 & 07:00

Salary: Competitive dependent on experience + 4% shift enhancement + £5,000 golden hello (T’s & C’s apply)
We are looking for a Senior Theatre Practitioner/SFA Practitioner to join our Theatres team at The Wilmslow Hospital, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC.
What You Will Do
* Assist World Class Orthopaedic surgeons as a Scrub Practitioner and Surgical First Assistant (SFA) during a variety of surgical procedures, including joint replacements, trauma surgery, and arthroscopic procedures.
* Prepare and maintain the sterile field, ensuring all necessary instruments and equipment are available and functioning correctly.
* Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
* Mentor and support junior staff and students, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
* Participate in the development and implementation of clinical protocols and guidelines.
* Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation in line with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
What You Will Bring
* Registered Nurse or ODP with current NMC or HCPC registration
* Extensive experience in orthopaedic surgery with a proven track record as a Senior Scrub Practitioner and Surgical First Assistant
* Advanced clinical skills and knowledge in orthopaedic procedures and instrumentation
* Excellent communications and interpersonal skills with strong organisational and time management ability
