Contracts Manager - Newtownabbey

Gentech Recruitment is delighted to partner with our client based in Newtownabbey, currently recruiting a Contracts Manager. The successful candidate will work with an established commercial project management team and their in-house M&E design team, utilizing the latest Revit, AutoCAD & MEP 3D design packages.
Responsibilities
1. Manage and develop project delivery teams to ensure successful and timely project completion.
2. Regularly liaise with clients via online or face-to-face meetings and on-site discussions to ensure satisfaction and forecast upcoming work.
3. Ensure managers and site teams work efficiently, with all objectives set and achieved within target dates.
4. Verify that project value, drawings, specifications, and orders are agreed upon before commencement.
5. Coordinate with project teams to populate high-level templates and set out construction guidelines (material & dependency trackers, programmes, lessons learned).
6. Ensure correct procurement of all plant and equipment, aligned with specifications and client needs.
7. Forecast project expenditure at outset and communicate projections to Operations and Commercial teams.
8. Assess labor and sub-contractor requirements for installation work and team expansion.
9. Assist the Commercial team in preparing and evaluating monthly applications (client & sub-contractor).
10. Provide accurate contract variation information and monthly claims for valuation.
11. Participate in monthly performance review meetings with the Operations Manager.
12. Assist in preparing O&M manuals upon project completion, ensuring all As-built drawings and certifications are compiled.
13. Track project performance weekly through progress reports to the client.
14. Work with the Operations Manager to forecast additional resource needs.
Requirements
* Previous management experience in a similar role.

* Strong communication skills internally and externally.
* Punctuality, reliability, and trustworthiness.
* Previous management experience delivering projects valued between £3m - £10m.
