MEICA Design Manager – Clean Water Infrastructure I’m working with a Tier 1 infrastructure contractor delivering major clean and wastewater projects across the UK. They’re looking to appoint a MEICA Design Manager to lead the design and coordination of mechanical, electrical, and process engineering on technically complex treatment and pumping station schemes. Key Responsibilities: Lead MEICA design for clean water projects, ensuring solutions are compliant, buildable, and efficient Integrate process, mechanical, and electrical engineering across treatment and pumping systems Provide technical input across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning stages Evaluate suppliers and subcontractors to ensure technical compliance Participate in design risk reviews (HAZOP, ALM) and ensure CDM compliance Act as the key technical point of contact for internal teams, stakeholders, and clients Requirements: HNC / Degree in Process, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (or related field) Proven experience delivering MEICA or process design on clean or wastewater projects Background in pumping station design and delivery Strong understanding of MEICA interfaces and water industry standards (e.g. DWI, EA) Familiarity with HAZOP, ALM, and CDM regulations Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Infraworks, ReCap Pro This is a great opportunity to join a business that invests in its people, embraces innovation, and plays a key role in delivering essential UK infrastructure.
