Investor Relations Analyst Hybrid/ Birmingham | Permanent Unity Trust Bank is entering an exciting phase of growth — expanding in ambition, scale, and strategic complexity. To support this evolution, we are making a step‑change in how we communicate our financial performance, strategy, and value proposition to shareholders, potential investors, rating agencies, and the wider market. To enable this, we are creating a brand‑new role: Investor Relations Analyst. What You’ll Be Doing This is a rare opportunity to build the Bank’s investor relations and strategic communications capability from the ground up. You will play a central role in shaping how Unity Trust Bank presents itself to external stakeholders, ensuring our narrative is clear, credible, and compelling. You will be responsible for producing high‑quality financial analysis, shareholder materials, and market intelligence that strengthens our position with existing and future investors. Your work will directly inform how the Bank articulates its performance and long‑term strategy. What You’ll Bring The Role will need experience in the creation of high‑quality external materials — including presentations, factsheets, briefing notes, and Q&A documents — ensuring a clear and consistent narrative for shareholders, potential investors, rating agencies, and other stakeholders. The role maintains core stakeholder records, tracks sentiment and themes, prepares senior‑leader briefing packs, and helps coordinate engagement activity with both internal teams and external advisors. Alongside this, the role provides market intelligence, peer benchmarking, and financial analysis to inform the Bank’s external messaging and strategic positioning. Working closely with FP&A, Treasury, Financial Control, and Risk, the Analyst translates complex performance data into clear insights, supports Board and Executive papers, and ensures all disclosures meet governance and regulatory standards while maintaining strict control of confidential materials. What we offer You’ll enjoy a generous package designed to support your wellbeing and future, including 31 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, up to 15% employer pension contribution, enhanced family leave and sick pay, a healthcare cash plan, and 7x salary life cover. We want you to feel valued, supported, and able to thrive.
