About the role
We are looking for a Shift Manager to work across our Restaurants & Quick Service department here at Bognor Regis.
Reporting to the Venue Manager, the Shift Manager will be responsible for ensuring daily operational plans are fulfilled by ensuring that relevant tasks and objectives are being carried out by the team and that the team is in the right place at the right time to manage fluctuating guest demand while maintaining operational standards and guest experience. You will support and coach the team to deliver a great experience and drive key targets such as add-on sales or promotions.
This is an operational guest-facing role; therefore, all non-guest-facing tasks will be allocated as time within your working week, allowing you to spend most of your time within your venue and with our guests.
This role covers a 40-hour, 5-day working week over 7 days, so flexibility is very important. You will work a variety of shift patterns between 6am - 3am.
As with all roles at Butlin’s, no day will be the same. You will need to enjoy thinking on your feet, getting involved, and ensuring that our guest experience is always your top priority.
About You
We are looking for an experienced leader from within a volume-led F&B or branded fast-food environment, or someone who can support the team to deliver fantastic service. You should prioritize the guests in everything you do and have experience in training and coaching teams in a fun-filled environment to deliver excellent experiences.
You should have previous experience leading in a volume-led restaurant or fast-food environment where speed and quality are both important. Confidence to direct and respond in any situation while maintaining brand standards is essential.
You should be confident in leading, motivating, and engaging your team, even during high demand, and capable of managing multiple priorities and adapting quickly to changing requirements.
Strong leadership skills are necessary to inspire your team to deliver outstanding results for our guests every day.
