With over 50 nurseries across the UK, Banana Moon Franchise provides nurturing and inspiring environments where children grow, learn, and thrive. We’re looking for a passionate Early Years Support Officer to join our team in the North. The role offers the flexibility of combined regular visits to nurseries, with providing support to nursery franchisees and managers whilst working flexibly from home. You’ll support teams across the UK, although based in the North, to deliver high-quality Early Years education and care. Occasional attendance at the Franchise Support Office in Warwick may be required for whole team events and collaboration.
Responsibilities
* Champion excellence by monitoring statutory requirements and ensuring nurseries across the Banana Moon Network remain fully compliant with regulatory inspection frameworks.
* Be an ambassador for the Banana Moon brand, bringing our mission and values.
* Support franchisees in delivering high-quality learning and development.
* Provide flexible support through onsite visits, virtual meetings, and telephone guidance.
* Assist nurseries during regulatory inspections, offering reassurance and practical support.
* Use professional expertise to guide franchisees and nursery managers to confidently tackle everyday challenges.
* Review and maintain network-wide compliance.
* Inspire and upskill others by delivering engaging face-to-face and virtual workshops and training programmes.
* Keep accurate records through visit notes, audit reports, and other essential documentation.
* Play a key role in supporting brand new nursery projects as they join our brand and launch.
Requirements
* A minimum of three years' experience in an early years management role, ideally with multi-site experience.
* Thrives on variety: from compliance visits to hands-on training delivery.
* Confident communicator who can build strong, supportive relationships.
* Flexible and proactive, with a willingness to travel; must hold a full UK driving licence.
* Hold a relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or Development.
* Thorough knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding legislations.
* Proven track record of positive Ofsted inspection outcomes.
* Strong organisational and administrative skills.
* DBS disclosure is required as the role involves direct contact with children.
