Meridian, an industrial M&E contractor based near Oxford, is expanding its management team and seeks an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager. With a strong pipeline of projects covering factories, pharmaceutical plants, water treatment works, engineering facilities, manufactories, and power plants, this role offers a mix of office work and site visits across the South of England. The position is permanent and supports career progression and additional earning potential through overtime.

Requirements for the role
* Experience managing M&E industrial contracts from initial design through complete delivery and handover
* Experience on water treatment, engineering, pharmaceutical, or other industrial projects
* Ability to work both as part of a team and independently when required
* Client‑facing skills with a proven track record of building and expanding business opportunities
* Exposure to pre‑construction processes such as RAMS, costing, estimation, surveying, and supply‑chain meetings
* Strong time‑keeping skills and the ability to meet deadlines
* Customer‑service orientation; site meetings and supply‑chain visits will be required
Duties
* Oversee the entire project life‑cycle from initial conception until handover, ensuring client satisfaction, safety, profitability, and timely delivery
* Prepare tenders and quotations
* Collaborate with supply‑chain members
* Help create and maintain RAMS
* Build and develop customer relations to generate new business opportunities
* Work with other management team members to forecast and quote upcoming projects accurately
* Manage on‑site engineering teams in close coordination with Site Supervisors/Managers
* Attend regular progress and supply‑chain meetings to communicate effectively across channels
