Job Title: Senior Engineering Geologist
Location: Harrogate
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000
A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Senior Engineering Geologist to join a well-established ground investigation consultancy in Harrogate. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse range of residential, commercial and major infrastructure projects while taking on increased responsibility within a growing technical team.
The successful Senior Engineering Geologist will be responsible for managing projects from initial tender stage through to final delivery, combining technical reporting with site supervision and client-facing responsibilities. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior staff and supporting the continued growth of the team.

The role of the Senior Engineering Geologist will involve:
9. Managing and delivering ground investigation projects
10. Overseeing site investigations and supervising subcontractors
11. Logging soil and rock to current industry standards
12. Producing and reviewing factual and interpretative reports
13. Completing Phase 1 and Phase 2 geoenvironmental assessments
14. Geotechnical analysis including slope stability and foundation recommendations
15. Client liaison and project management responsibilities
16. Mentoring and supporting junior engineers and geologists
