St Nicholas Primary School is a denominational school which provides for nursery children and stages P1-P7 with a current roll of 393 and 65 in the nursery. Its catchment area caters for children living in Broxburn, Uphall, Uphall Station and Dechmont. St Nicholas Primary School is an integral part of the local community both educationally and socially. There are active and effective Parish/ Community links through St. John Cantius and St Nicholas RC Church in Broxburn. Strong links also exist with Sinclair Academy, Winchburgh and the cluster primary schools. The school works closely with the Parent Council, local parish and wider community. We are now seeking a motivated Pupil Support Worker to join our school team. This position requires registration with the SSSC. The successful candidate will have six months from the date of commencement of this post to become registered with the SSSC. SSSC stipulate you must submit your application within three months of your start date. If you are already registered with SSSC you will be required to add West Lothian Council to your account This post is considered Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scotland Act 2007.
