Are you passionate about helping children thrive in their learning journey? Protocol Education is looking for a compassionate and committed Individual Support Assistant to work 1:1 with a child with Special Educational Needs (SEN) at a warm and inclusive primary school in Southend.
About the Role:
As an Individual Support Assistant, you’ll provide personalised support to help a child fully engage with their learning. Your role will include:
✔️ Delivering tailored assistance during lessons and activities
✔️ Fostering independence and boosting confidence ✨
✔️ Following strategies set out by the SENCO and class teacher
✔️ Supporting the child's emotional and social development
✔️ Collaborating closely with school staff, parents, and external professionals
About You:
We're looking for someone who is:
✅ Patient, empathetic, and dedicated
✅ Experienced in working with children with SEN
✅ Skilled at building positive relationships and encouraging engagement
✅ Confident using a range of strategies to support learning and behaviour
✅ A strong team player with excellent communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
