We are seeking a Service Delivery Manager – Passive Fire to join our team in Ipswich. The role sits within Compliance and involves coordinating and ensuring the delivery of high‑quality Passive Fire maintenance operations and remedial services across multiple sites, meeting contract and service specifications and customer expectations.
Responsibilities
* Supervise the operations team carrying out Passive Fire Safety works, fault finding and maintenance duties in accordance with contract and service specifications.
* Respond positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations in accordance with contract and service specifications.
* Manage resources effectively, ensuring tools and equipment are maintained by staff when issues arise and orders are requested within budget.
* Prepare quotation and tender documentation as required to win new business.
* Ensure the correct Schedule of Rates are in place for each job, valuations are noted, and completed works are inspected and signed off in compliance with the company’s 3rd‑Party certification.
Skills & Qualifications
* Qualified to Fire Risk Assessor Level 3, ILM membership (The Institute of Leadership), NVQ Level 3 in a core trade subject or currently undertaking the qualification. Candidates must bring original certification at interview; copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted.
* Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads.
* Working knowledge of the Fire passive delivery, including management experience.
* Experience of working under a third‑party accreditation (e.g., BM Trada requirements).
* Experience effectively recruiting, managing and developing staff.
* Valid UK driving licence, as the role will involve driving a company vehicle.
