We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school community in Northampton. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of pupils with SEN.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored support to pupils with SEN both in the classroom and during break/lunchtime activities
Help maintain a clean, safe, and organised learning environment
Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all students
Assist the class teacher with daily activities and lesson preparation
Support pupils’ learning and development
No prior school experience is required—we’re looking for individuals with the right attitude, passion, and commitment to working with children.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Ideally have experience working with SEN pupils (not essential)
Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or be willing to obtain one)
Be passionate, motivated, and committed to supporting children’s learning
Be proactive and able to use their initiative
