Purpose of the role: The Investor Relations Manager is a highly organised and proactive individual. This role plays a key part in managing relationships with our community of over 1,000 fractional Investors, who vary widely in background, understanding, engagement level, and communication needs. The IRM acts as the central point of contact for Investors and, ensuring a high standard of service while managing contracts, sales, complaints, communications, and performance reporting. The role also involves internal collaboration across departments and offers the opportunity to develop leasehold specialisation and legal knowledge. Key Responsibilities Act as the main liaison between Homes for Students and all Investors, delivering clear and consistent communication. Maintain, update, and regularly review the USL Investor Hub to ensure the platform provides accurate information for Investors. Monitor the Investor Inbox, tracking queries and complaints, escalating when needed, and ensuring timely and effective resolutions. Organise and support Investor events such as Annual General Meetings (AGMs) and Informal Committee meetings. Take an active involvement in Investor contract management - Liaise with the cntracts manager on variations to cntract terms. Mnitor contract renewal dates. Assist with the cordination of contract re-tenders. Complete LPE1 forms and assist with the sale of leasehold apartments, including dealing with sales enquiries from solicitors. Work with the internal legal director and solicitors as required, ensuring proper documentation and up-to-date legal templates are maintained (eg Section 20 requirements for qualifying works.) Work closely with the Portfolio Manager and Finance Manager to gather, interpret, and present operational and financial performance data for Investor reporting. Collaborate effectively with internal teams such as Finance, Procurement, Marketing and Operations, keeping well-informed to respond confidently to Investor queries and also keep internal stakeholders well-informed of any fractional issues that may affect their team. Lead the creation of and relationship management of informal committees and Investor groups. Assist with tenders for new fractional properties. Take on tasks and projects as delegated by the Portfolio Manager or Senior Leadership Team. Identify areas of improvement for Investor Relations and help implement processes and systems. Key Skills & Experience Experience in PBSA/BTR/Leasehold Management is essential. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organisation and multitasking capabilities. Confidence in working with data and preparing reports. Comfortable collaborating across teams and departments. Confident in communicating with Investors via phone, face to face and email.
