HGV Class 1 Driver
Shift Pattern: (days, no weekends)
Occasional Tramping: £26 per night out allowance
Hourly Rate: £18 per hour
About the role:
We are looking for Class 1 HGV drivers to join our client based in Doncaster, a leading manufacturer and distributor of plastic piping systems for the construction industry. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable company that provides high-quality products across the UK.
Key responsibilities:
* Operating Class 1 HGV vehicles to transport goods to various locations across the UK
* Ensuring deliveries are completed on time
* Maintaining a high standard of vehicle cleanliness and conducting routine checks
* Completing delivery paperwork and ensuring accuracy of records
* Representing the company with a professional attitude when interacting with clients and the public
What we are looking for:
* Class 1 licence
* Previous experience as a Class 1 HGV driver (preferred, but not essential)
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure and to deadlines
* Strong attention to detail, especially in relation to safety and compliance
* Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
