Diamond Search Recruitment are delighted to be representing our client, a leader within their field, providing trusted identity and security solutions.Seeking aSales Engineer for its Sales/Solutions Engineering team. The individual will play a critical role in establishing credibility and confidence with customers, by demonstrating and proving value through its products and services.
The Role
* Responsible for development and delivery of product demonstrations.
* Presenting the product(s) to customers and at external events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
* Able to convey customer requirements to Product Management teams.
* Assist sales with building business cases for new opportunities.
* Develop a strong working relationship with the customers technical staff and be able to gain their trust and credibility through their deep technical know-how and subject matter expertise.
* Work closely with customers to align the technical requirements and the solution design with their business drivers.
* Able to assist in responding to technical elements of RFP/Q/I and technical architecture solutions.
* Support and Run Pilots and POCs to drive/test specific use-cases internally as well as in front of customers.
* Work with the Professional Services team to assist in initial production set up of solutions for customers.
* Create Solution guides.
* Support product development in terms of writing product requirement documents, working with Development team, testing product/ product features/ integrations and support user guides.
* Third party integration support testing and documenting results.
Person specification
* Customer focus mindset with general interest in technology.
* Good experience with Information Technology space.
* Basic understanding of Windows environment especially Active Directory, Windows Servers/Desktops, Command Prompt, Virtual Machine set-up, etc.
* Basic understanding of knowledge of networking topology, TCP/IP protocol, network configuration and components (firewalls, routers, etc.).
* Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organisation and with frequent onboarding of new customers and partners.
* Strong communication and presentation skills and being able to communicate professionally in written responses through emails, RFPs, and reports.
* Organised and analytical with a strong ability to find solutions for technical obstacles in the sales process through creative and adaptive approaches.
* Must respect deadlines and quality deliverables (SOW, responses to RFP etc.).
* Proven time management skills in a dynamic sales environment is a must.
* Oral and written fluency in the below languages:
* French or German Language C1 level,
