RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MBS FINANCE SME Your core duties will include (but are not limited to): Act as the primary subject matter expert for Oracle Fusion Financials, providing hands-on configuration expertise and end-to-end support across the product lifecycle. Be the main point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on Finance and Commercial related product vision, progress, and priorities deliver agreed outcomes set against your Product Roadmap. Engage with other SMEs and stakeholders to assess business requirements against current Core Financials capabilities, ensuring prioritisation aligns with resources and business goals Make functional changes to the products you manage to ensure continuous improvement and maintain industry standards in your projects Supporting the operational teams in changes they may need to make including testing, change management etc particular around the quarterly patching cycle Assist with defining and prioritising product features through extensive collaboration and negotiation supported by outcomes and value. Assist with the analysis of data including customer feedback to understand the pain points and frustrations to drive out improved experience that gain the right outcomes. Using data to understand trends, compliance, usage etc to create opportunities for improvements that matter most. Detailed understanding of the technology that supports the product. Assisting the development teams (internal and external) to support the product development Drive continuous improvement in technical solutions that supports client priorities. SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE MBS FINANCE SME Experience 3 plus years in Finance with a deep understanding of Payables and General Ledger and any other Finance modules. Functional System Administration experience dealing with user access, security, roles and controls. Public sector experience is desirable with shared services and legislation relative to product range but not a necessity. Understanding of SaaS based solutions supporting back-office services like Oracle Cloud Financials and Sourcing would be useful Knowledge of project management technology development and implementations Understanding of supporting product strategies and product delivery capabilities. Knowledge: Educated to high level with strong professional knowledge of Oracle ERP Financials. Understanding of SaaS based products Working knowledge of core end to end services covering across Finance/Commercial Teams Knowledge of public sector shared services and the challenges they face Knowledge of Oracle Cloud technology supporting back-office services Knowledge of product lifecycles processes including testing & change management Qualifications: Familiarity of tools such as BI Publisher and OTBI (desirable). Oracle certifications in Analytics, Cloud, or Data Integration (desirable). Agile delivery experience or familiarity with iterative development and prioritisation frameworks (desirable).
